i recently went to this open mic event and thus tried out one of my new songs [Trueness] cause i know its one thing to write, sing and record but the stage is another world entirely - the feedback was amaising!!!. i felt good with it. the guy with the guitar [Isaac] is the one i collaborated with on all my new material (available on Soundcloud) (incredibly talented brother). i hope you find it worth your watch/listen. I remember how hard it was writing this song. it was crafted to be this very sad song about being hopeless but basically having hope - i didn't want it to be a religious thing or connecting with a lover so i made it about the accompanying instrument. in the song, i ask the acoustic guitar to "String me back to life" ... basically relying on the instrument to get out of my funk.
