New Video: Mariah Carey's "#Beautiful" (feat Miguel)

Three days after Mariah Carey unveiled "#Beautiful," her Twitter trend-friendly duet with Miguel, the pop superstar debuted its flirtatious music video on Thursday night's episode of "American Idol."

song's opening line ("Hop on the back of my bike") and find the R&B crooners sharing a motorcycle before Carey commandeers the vehicle for herself in a sunny field. The second sequence showcases Miguel seated in a red Porsche, beaming as he watches Carey gyrate in a short yellow dress, the glow from the headlights providing a makeshift spotlight for the singer.
As reported on Tuesday, "#Beautiful" is off to a strong start at radio and on a sales front, and is expected to lead Carey's 13th studio album, due out this summer on Island Def Jam. The follow-up to 2009's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" will feature production from The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri and Mike WiLL Made-It, among others; Carey and Miguel produced and wrote "#Beautiful" by themselves.
Although "#Beautiful" did not register on this week's Hot 100, its likely debut next week will expand Carey's impressive track record on the chart. The singer has tallied 44 Hot 100 entries -- 27 of which have reached the Top 10.
