Robbie Williams sells out three O2 Arena shows in an hour

Robbie Williams sold out three nights at London's O2 Arena in less than an hour yesterday morning (October 9). The star's mini jaunt sold 50,000 tickets upon going on sale at 9am yesterday, after ticket registration saw interest in ...
the show oversubscribed by 5,000%. "There was extraordinary demand for the Robbie Williams concerts at The O2, probably the biggest on sale for a live event that we have witnessed so far in 2012," commented Ticketmaster.  "The tickets for these hugely anticipated concerts sold out in less than an hour. By using Ticketmaster's Paperless Tickets initiative, the artist management has also ensured that all these tickets have gone to genuine Robbie fans." Williams will headline three nights at the arena on November 22, 23 and 24 in support of his new album Take the Crown. The new collection will be released on November 5 and be preceded by lead single 'Candy', which is available to download from October 29.
