Following Fox's announcement that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato would judge "X Factor" starting in the fall, it was released that another of the network's shows, "Glee," would have a Britney tribute in its upcoming fourth season. That's network synergy at its finest, folks.

The network didn't let the fact that "Glee" already had a Britney tribute stop this from going forward, as this episode will reportedly be very different from the Britney tribute that aired at the beginning of season two. That episode, one of "Glee's" highest-rated, focused on Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) and her hallucinations about the famous pop star. Spears had a cameo the last time around, but so far, it looks like she won't be returning for part two.
"Glee's" season two "Britney/Brittany" episode had five singles chart on the Billboard Hot 100: "Stronger" (No. 53), "I'm A Slave 4 U" (No. 52), "Toxic" (No. 16), "...Baby One More Time" (No. 54), and "Me Against the Music" (No. 56). Out of the 203 songs the Glee Cast has charted on the Hot 100, the "Toxic" cover is one of only 11 to reach the top 20.
Fox also announced at their Upfronts presentation Monday (May 14) that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson would both have guest star stints on the show next season. That morning, Chris Colfer accidentally revealed on "Live With Kelly" that the "Sex and the City" star would play his character Kurt's mentor, while Hudson is expected to have a similar role with Lea Michele's character Rachel.
