ASHTON KUTCHER DELIVERS HUGE 'MEN' RATINGS
After months of publicity, Ashton Kutcher pulled in a mind-blowing 27.7 million viewers in his debut on 'Two and a Half Men', the first without Charlie Sheen. This was the highest-rated season premiere on any network in six years, since the second season premiere of 'Desperate Housewives' in September 2005.
In addition, it marks a nearly 90 percent jump in total viewers, compared to last season's bow, which averaged 14.6 million and 4.9 in the 18-49 demographics. Still, the real test for 'Two and a Half Men' and its new leader will come next week, given these opening numbers may have simply been a case of curiosity.
