Scherzinger Soars On UK Singles Chart

If her current sales are anything to go by, Nicole Scherzinger will have much cause for celebration this week. For, the Pop vixen’s latest single ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ is on-course to be a bonafide smash on the Official UK Singles Chart. Released merely 14 hours ago, the Dave Aude produced cut has hit the top spot on iTunes UK, with an ever-increasingly lead over her nearest rivals The Wanted – who sit at #2 on the tally with their Comic Relief single ‘Gold Forever’. Regardless of whether ‘Breath’ hits #1 or not this Sunday (which it almost certainly will), its high charting is yet another coup for the former Pussycat Doll. For, in recent months she has risen above the backlash from her time in the group, not to mention above the disaster that was her first (and ultimately shelved) project – ‘Her Name Is Nicole’.
It goes to show, all she needed was solid material. She’s always had a decent enough push. How things will pan out for her back in the States will be interesting to see. ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ is lifted from Scherzinger’s sophomore effort ‘Killer Love’ – which is released exclusively in Europe on March 22nd. The set also features the RedOne produced ‘Poison’, which peaked at #3 here in the UK last December. u go girl!!!!!
