After several days of rumors and being " in talks," Nicki Minaj was officially confirmed as the special guest on Britney Spears upcoming Femme Fatale tour today, via a post on Spears' official website. The tour begins on June ....
16 in Sacramento, Calif., and is scheduled to wrap on August 13 in Toronto.
The tour's all-female lineup will also include Jessie J and the Toy Boys and Nervo on every tour stop. Tickets for select markets go on sale beginning April 30 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through Citi's Private Pass Program.
"This is the 'Femme Fatale' tour and I'm thrilled to have the hot Nicki Minaj join me and Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will get everyone on the dance floor," Spears said in a statement. "Can't wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road."
Enrique Iglesias was originally scheduled to be the tour's special guest, but - as exclusively reported by Billboard.biz -- pulled out just hours after Spears made the announcement on "Good Morning America."
"Femme Fatale" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 last week, marking Spears' sixth chart-topping album.
