Video. Simon Cowell Egged During 'Britain's Got Talent' Finale

Simon Cowell's "Britain's Got Talent" wrapped up its seventh season Saturday night with Hungarian shadow theater troupe Attraction emerging as the winner of the talent competition on commercial network ITV. The live final went down with a surprise twist, though, as a woman showed up on stage during an opera singing performance and started throwing ...
eggs at BGT judges Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.
The woman was eventually dragged off the stage, and comedians and hosts Ant and Dec told the audience that the incident was not part of the act. ITV later said the woman apparently belonged to a musical quartet that was not part of the finals.
"Natalie Holt (age 30) was part of the backing group for their performance, and as a result of her misguided actions the police were called," a BGT rep said in a statement about the woman who threw eggs. "However, we have decided to take no further action at this stage.”
Holt said in a statement: "I want to apologize to [opera-singing brothers] Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.”
The brothers said: “It’s disappointing that someone tried to sabotage our performance, but we’re proud that we made it to the end of our song. Thanks to everyone for their support. We’ve had a great time."
The show's ratings have been beating BBC singing competition "The Voice," which will crown its season two winner on Saturday, June 22. Last year's BGT winners were Ashleigh and her dancing dog Pudsey.
Cowell earlier in the season lauded Attraction as "one of the most amazing" acts ever on the show.
