Daft Punk Won't Make Coachella Return, Rep Says

Despite a stray listing on Daft Punk's Vevo page, the duo won't be appearing at the Coachella Music Festival this year, according to Rolling Stone. A rep for the electronic act told the mag that "Daft Punk is not performing at Coachella this year." The group's not the first to be inaccurately attached to the festival thanks to ...
digital date errors: the Rolling Stones' official iPhone app previously had the legendary band performing the Indio, Calif., fest's first night, April 12, before the date was denied. (The Stones will, however, headline Glastonbury.)
Coachella does have space toward the top of the bill: Lou Reed has cancelled his dates at the event's two weekends, as well as his other California shows. Daft Punk previously performed at Coachella in 2006. The group's new album, "Random Access Memories," is due May 21.
