L.A. Reid leaving 'X Factor'

L.A. Reid will soon be an ex-judge on "The X Factor." The veteran music executive is not returning to the Fox singing competition series next season, a representative for Epic Records said Thursday. Reid is currently the chairman and CEO of Epic, a division of Sony Entertainment. Reid joined the American version of the show last year along with creator Simon Cowell. This season also boasts Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges. Its finale is next week. Last year Reid left his job as chairman and CEO of Island Def Jam Music Group, where he helped launch careers for acts like Rihanna and Justin Bieber. At Epic, his roster includes Sade, Fiona Apple, Karmin, Ciara and "X Factor" season one winner Melanie Amaro.

New Music: The Saturdays' "What About Us"

In the bid to break the US, The UK based Girl band (and one of my fav girl bands), The Saturdays, recently released this club banger that would be in conjunction with the debut their E! reality show "Chasing the saturdays" (which has been shooting for forever already). The hot techno/dance record features Sean Paul which gives it that island vibe. its worth rotating and this is wishing the girls lots of luck in America cause they are gona need alot of it cause alot of acts like Sugababes, Blue, Girls aloud and co. have tried and failed at the attmempt of braking the US market but like Simon Cowell would say, "I'v got a good feeling about this one".

P-Square, Chuddy K and Olamide Release 3 Nigerian Videos Worth Checking out



P-Square, Chuddy K and Olamide all have released new music videos to promote the new records. P-Square regained my attention with the new video for their hit, Alingo. Clerence outdid himself on this one. Olamide is one to watch. the video and song for First Of All is really magnetic and u just wanan move to it to the sound of it plus there are cameos by two female comedians i looove! Chuddy K releases the video for Brazillian Hair which i think is a nice video but i must say im still trying to get into the song itself cause i feel its alover the place but it might just be those songs that eventually grow on me like "Ur Waist" did.
