Alice Ward, Portrayed by Melissa Leo In The Fighter, Has Passed Away

I feel so bad but so proud that she achieved Actings highest honor earlier this year before her demise. Alice Ward, who was portrayed by Melissa Leo in The Fighter, has passed away at 79-years-old.

According to family friend John Descoteaux, Alice died yesterday at a Boston hospital after being removed from life support. She had gone into cardiac arrest back in January, and ceased breathing for over 30 minutes.Our thoughts go out to Alice's family and friends during this difficult time. She will always be remembered!
