Charlie Sheen Redeems Self in Second New York Show

After bombing in New York on Friday night, Charlie Sheen returned to Radio City Music Hall on Sunday and received two standing ovations.

"The show is entirely different from Friday night," TMZ wrote in its play-by-play of Sheen's sixth stop on his My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour.
For starters, Sheen actually ...
interacted with the audience, who gave him a standing ovation as he took the stage. He tossed his script and instead took questions from the crowd.
Of the first New York performance, The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney noted that the most interesting thing that happened onstage in an otherwise dull, more sedate show was Sheen's open invitation to former boss Chuck Lorre to join him in his second New York show Sunday "to fixTwo and a Half Men."
On Sunday, Sheen addressed Friday's disastrous show, saying: "I don't even think I was here Friday night."
He added that, "Friday night got a little f---ing hijacked because I let people get into my magic f---ing brain."
During Sunday's show, Sheen did utter several of the same lines he's used at previous shows, including telling the crowd that he discovered crack and the Internet in the same weekend and thanked former Vice President Al Gore for that. He also reiterated that he would rejoin Two and a Half Men if he was asked to return and said he would apologize to his former bosses in an attempt to get his old job back.
As for Men co-creator Lorre, the actor said he "doesn't completely suck."
He also called former co-star Jon Cryer a rock star and apologized for calling him a troll.
Other highlights:
-- Sheen spotted Inside the Actors Studio host James Lipton in the crowd and called him onstage. Lipton asked Sheen what his favorite curse word was. "Either f--- or Denise," he replied, in reference to his ex-wife Denise Richards.
-- Former New York Mets baseball player Darryl Strawberry made an appearance on stage.
-- Sheen offered to pay for the whole crowd to get tattoos that say "winning," one of his catchphrases.
-- A female ticketholder went onstage to "audition" to be Sheen's third "goddess," along with Rachel Oberlin and Natalie Kenly. She received mixed reviews from the crowd, according to TMZ.
-- Sheen spotted a girl he used to date in the crowd and greeted her with a hug and kiss.
All in all, it appears the crowd had a good time: They gave him another standing ovation after it was over.
