The publications handed over a reported $14 million -- after an intense bidding war -- for the shots of the famous family, making them the most expensive celebrity pictures ever sold. The issue of People contained 19 pages of exclusive pictures and a full interview with Brad and Angie.
The couple reportedly donated their earnings to an organization aimed at helping children around the world.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's Twins

Details: The first pics of J.Lo's twins Max and Emme allegedly fetched $6 million from People magazine in March 2008. This was the most a publication had spent on celeb photos -- that is, until the price tag on the pictures of the Jolie-Pitt twins made this figure look unreasonably low just months later.
The mag featured 12 pages of pictures of the couple's month-old babies at their Long Island home and nursery.

Details: Okay, so Brad and Angie totally got stiffed in June 2006 on pictures of their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. The couple sold the baby photos to Getty Images in exchange for a donation to charity in 2005.
People reportedly paid Getty $4 million to use the six photos in their publication and the issue sold 2.2 million copies! Hello! magazine bought the British rights.
